I need a little help. My wife and I have a 29g reef tank. We want to add another fish, I want a angel and she wants a yellow fish. So, is there any dwarf angel fish that is yellow? Thanks for all the help.

Yes Heralds and Lemonpeel are two dwarf Angels in yellow color. Not suitable for a 29 gallon tank.

You're pretty much out of luck trying to put an angel in a tank that size. Any dwarf angel would tend to get hyper-aggressive in 29g tank. A midas blenny would do well depending on current tank load

Yes your tank is not large enough for any of the dwarf angels. There are many yellow fish you can get or even half yellow like the Royal Gramma.. Also the Midas blenny, clown goby, Yellow watchman goby,

Thank you all for the info. I thought my tank would be to small. As far as stock goes I only have two clowns and a cardinal. My clowns are paired, I have had a clown goby but it was flaky looking so I brought it back to NY lfs in exchange for a red star. I will look up the royal gamma. Thanks for all the help.

Hope you don't feel discouraged. You can still have many other beautiful fishes in your tank.

You can put the scourge of the ocean known as the pygmy angel in there. The face is orange to yellow depending on local and what they are eating. They can get quite nasty though.

I have a Cherub Angel and yes it would be ok in the 29 IMO but it really needs more room. I've got mine in a 40b and had it in a 20L before upgrading.

I just recently found out how nasty they can be. I purchased two black mollies and put them in my tank and he was trying to kill them. Had to move them to the sump and now I don't see them. They either died or are hiding in the rocks not sure which since they can get from chamber to chamber as they wish. Hopefully they make it.

The moral of this story is put the Cherub angel in LAST

Here is are a few pictures of the little devil with my Hectors goby and my True Percula pair. He gets along great with them. The clowns were first and then he and the Hectors were put in at the same time.
