Angels

I decide to not keep anymore sps in my tank and I'm just going to keep lps and some softies. Do angel fish also nip at lps like acan, chalices? I was thinking of adding a flame and maybe a emperor or regal angel.

IME, dwarf angels LOVE fleshy LPS.

I had experience with a Majestic Angelfish, doesn't nip
frogspawns,palys,dendros,star poylps,anenomes but does nip small zoas.

I'm working on a 180gal softie too. Got a blue face and majestic in there, not much softies in there though. They're all in my mixed reef. haha

IME angels generally are more likely to nip LPS than SPS. JME though.

I just got talked out of a dwarf angel at the LFS yesterday, because of their potential to eat stuff. But, I really want one.

I've heard about flame angels and my lfs said it was rare that they eat coral to the point where 98% of them are fine and then my other lfs said that its 50-50 so I would like to hear what other people say! I have a coral beauty angel in my 29 biocube that doesnt touch anything. personlly i like both flame and coral beauty.

I have personally watched my flame nip/eat fleshy LPS and zoas.

Some kinds of LPS seem to draw dwarf angelfish licke crack addicts looking for a fix. Trachy's, Acans, Lobos, Scoly's. Esp. Trachyphyllia!!
