1. Can you give your opinion about possibility of using 1/2" (thin, off-white) CPVC water piping from hardware store as a support for angled live rock construction, like this , only for a smaller tank, 90g?
Will it hold such weight?
I will be using mainly Caribsea Reef Rock, some branching Fiji and more solid Pagona LR.
I have thicker PVC tubing, schedule 40, but masonry drill bits are too thin to make holes for it. And the branch should become thin on the end, maybe the thinner piping will be better.
2. Another thing: in the link above all the weight of this construction comes onto half of the bottom, not distributed evenly. Is there way to improve this, without sacrificing aesthetics?
