Anglerfish compatibility

So our little wartskin angler (Antennarius maculatus), Hastur, is going to be moving from his little 20L tank to a 57 gallon rimless tank. Currently he is in with 2 chromis that he can't catch, but I was wondering if there are any fish that can go in the new tank with him.

I am guessing no but wanted to check anyway. A large marine betta maybe?

Your not gonna have much luck finding friends for a angler he's either gonna get picked on or eat whoever he's with

Maybe find another angler the same size. I've had 2 living together for over a year in the same tank. Been fortunate.

Anglers are best kept in a species tank. Eventually he'll eat all of his neighbors if they fit in his mouth.

I guessed as much, but wanted to look into it. So the 57 will become a clam, zooanthid, leather, mushroom, macro algae tank with a lot of micro-fauna just like the 20 became...
