Angry Red Legged Hermit Crab

So one of my hermit crabs is not too happy with the tank's new inhabitant, a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone courtesy of Fish Pros. I guess he was really fond of the hole that I placed the anemone in. He was trying for a good 20 minutes to get back into the hole, first trying to bull his way forward them trying to use his shell till he finally have up for tonight at least. I was surprised that he did not get stung even when his feelers touched the anemone.

Hopefully soon my Ocellaris will come to his senses and try and host with the anemone.

Thanks, the hermit crab was bothering him again early the next morning. Today it seems he has finally given up and will search for a new night time hang out.

Clown isn't even remotely interested in the anemone yet, ugh.

It took my two clowns a few weeks to discover my green anemone. It only happened once the anemone moved into their corner of the tank. Since acquiring them, the clowns never seem to leave their corner "” EVER. Now the two of them spend their days fighting over the anemone. I also have a rose tip and they will not go near it, but it has moved clear on the other side of the tank, far from their happy corner. Good luck! Your rose tip is beautiful.
