Annularis angel at Petco!

There is the most beautiful annularis at the south Petco for $95! It's about 4" and looks very healthy. If I didn't have a tank full of livestock it would eat, I'd buy it.

They have it labeled as a blue ring angel.

Is he in adult colors or juvi?

I heard about this fish, they just got it in and it hasn't eaten yet. But other wise looks to be in good health.

From the way it was described to me over the phone it is showing it's adult colors Murf

Full adult coloration. I didn't ask if it had eaten yet since it can't go in my tank.

I wouldn't do it...this fish will eat corals for sure. There are much safer angels out there for the reef that will alos stay smaller than the Blue Ring. I always had luck with Majestics in a reef AND they stay relatively small for a Pomocanthus sp.

I think Eric is right on the money. The Blue Ring will eat corals.

I thought it looked healthy Wednesday. No visible parasites, eyes clear and didn't look half starved. It wasn't hiding behind rocks and didn't act dazed. Still, I wouldn't put it in a reef tank unless you plan to feed it with your corals and clams. I don't know how well adults acclimate either.
