I just ordered a show size Annularis Angel from an online vendor. First time mail order, hope all goes well. I was just wondering who has any large annularis' and how their temperament is. I am aware of all the care requirements. This Annularis will be going in with a small queen angel of about 3". I am anticipating the Annularis being around 10" or so.

Wow. Sounds great. Post some pics when you throw that beauty in. Are you going to qt him first and if you are what size tank do you qt something that big in?

Haha, Jim I thought you were done adding fish to your 360g? Blue ring angels are cool, should be a nice addition. Gotta start planning for an upgrade!

LOL, DPS. My name is Jason. I don't know why everyone calls me Jim. I'm always looking for a bigger tank, LOL.

lol could have sworn someone called u jim and u replied :p

I dunno..but almost every decent sized blue-ring angel i've seen at LFS all seem so lethargic

People call me Jim so much sometimes I just don't even pay attention, WuHT. Sometimes I think about changing my screen name, but it's not that big of a deal to me. I'm just here for the donuts, lol.

I have one that I love to death. They are very shy at first freaking out if you walk by the tank to fast and always in thier cave but once they reconize you with food you will have a new best friend who is always out and about.

Awesome fish Absint. How big is it? I can't wait to get mine. Hopefully it looks like yours. Is it housed with any other angels?

Ha, sorry Jason, I know the feeling though, my name is Jeff, and my name is always getting mixed up, must be something with the J's haha. When is the bluering coming in? Can't wait to see pics! So you looking to upgrade soon? Then move the huge queen into the 380g? That would be sweet!!!! Oh and I wouldn't expect any problems with your bluering and queen. Probably more problems with some of your big tangs with the bluering, just due to size comparison. Multiply angels in a tank isn't really all that bad, to a certain extent of course. I have a 6" adult emperor and a 3.5" six bar angel in a 40g QT tank right now and they NEVER fight or even chase each other.

I scheduled a saturday delivery, only day I'm home from work.

As far as a bigger tank - I'm always cruising the classifieds here and about 5 other forums for something in the 10x3x3 or so size. If I could find a good deal I'd go ahead and buy it. I am going to buy or build a new house in the next few years and going all out with new custom tank, etc. if I can't accumulate some good used stuff of course.

As far as the Queen Trigger I think the 380 is too big for a single fish. I was thinking either a 240 or 275 would be okay. There's a guy on here that has a neighbor who has had a Queen Trigger 16 years or so in a 220, which is 6' in length x 24 wide. I would just sell my 380 and buy some more fish, lol.

mine is only like 5'' and is the boss over a tusk and a butterfly for now they are in a 55gl but I'm redoing my fish room so I'm thinking of upgrading to a 120gl
