Another 180g Project has begun

I had a rough weekend with a 2 day party while I constructed all of this so here is the latest update as of this morning. It has been filled since Saturday evening. Framed out since Sunday afternoon.

I am running out of wood as I started to frame out the other sections of the basement along with this. What sucks is I have to beg friends to haul the crap home for me since I drive small cars. :bum: Enjoy!

Update: I spoke with Paul at OM, I bought a 4 way #3. We discussed flow patterns and ideas for quite awhile. All I can say is more business owners need to be like this guy! He is a great guy.

I will be running 3/4" PVC down the front corners (by the coffee mug in the last pic) and then on the other side. I am going to trim out the tank frame with some more 2X4 on the sides and bottom to hide this plumbing. Once green board is in place you wont but see maybe a bit of a cut 45 or two in the front buried in the sand.

All the rock work will be in the corners, with a center large swimming space. The center hole will be a feed to a dart. The two outers will be the other two 4way outputs. This way it will go the back drilled holes, then the two corner/front run PVC shot at the back and up. The returns for the sump will be dropped straight down the back in the center next to the boxes.

So the dart, bulkheads, and some salt are in route.

I also ordered a PFO mini 250 pendent aro ballast and a new reeflux 10k. I had 14k 175w Hamiltons and thought they were not to bright. I also had the XM 10k's and hated the yellow. So I am hoping these are the catch all bulbs for me. I just ordered one fixture and ballast to test them out for myself. And yes they are DE HQI.

This weekend I am shooting for my neighbor taking me to the store and I should be able to score some more lumber, green board, door, and maybe some conduit and wire. This way I can enclose this room from all other construction projects down there.

I don't plan on getting the tank up and running but to start plumbing and leak testing along with some rock cooking.

More updates this week or weekend!
