another base rock question

I have a tank with live rock fully cycled, and would like to put a couple of very porous rocks I found near the beach in the tank to become live rock. Do I need to cure them if they are really clean. What to do?
Thanks

If you haven't got any inhabitants that might be sensitive to a small spike then go ahead and put them in, but if the tank needs to be absolutely stable for fish or inverts it is probably better to cure it separately. If you suspect there is anything on or in the rocks that might be bad for your tank it would be best to keep it seperate as well in a quarantine container.

I just give it a the old bleach treatment. Place in a bucket with about 1/4 cup bleach per gallon of warm water and let it soak overnight. Rinse it really well and let air dry for a couple of days. Then give it an RO/DI rinse and add it to the tank. No problem that way.
