Another Clams Direct Group Buy?

Also Eric you PM box is full.
I have a ton of space in my tank and all clams would fit no problem for holding so they do not stay in the bags any longer then needed so if you would like me to receive them I am more then willing

Thanks Doug, PM's are cleared, your house works for me, but Joe will have a heck of a drive... :) Anyone care to chime in? Anyone else interested, 3 more Clams....
 
I suggest we have them shipped to the springs, and leave them in bags at whoever's house they go to(they need to be picked up in a reasonable time frame though). It is not a good idea to have a clam shipped acclimated to one tank, and then move it to another tank immediately. Clams are very sensitive. Plus some of us may not have the time to get to Castle Rock..I don't have much time right now personally and for Joe that is a 1 hour drive at least.

Also if I'm going to pay $80 for clams I want to make sure I acclimate them my self...

I'm also willing to chip in a couple of bucks for Saturday delivery...

After working in the retail business for awhile, I realize one wrong move with acclimating clams can be costly. They are very sensitive organisms especailly when they come in via shipping.
 
Eric, I would rather wait until the 5th to ship, we don't have enough right now to get free shipping and that is the next available window to ship and not have to pay for Saturday delivery... I've put in my order as has Doug, are you available to get this on Thurday the 6th if we ship on the 5th?
 
Yeah, I can pick it up on Thurs, but thre is no way right now I can get to Castle Rock...

On an ancillary note..are you saying that you are ordering directly through the website yourself?
 
Yes, that's what Barry has instructed and what we did last time, just put in the comments SCMAS group buy... I will contact him where to ship them to once we all have agreed on a place.
 
Another thing...it's only Thursday. When do we need to have the order in by to have it ship tomorrow? Surely we can come up with 3 more people to buy clams today.

By next week Barry's stock will be decimated.
 
GROUP ORDERS

We do group orders and when orders are over 10 clams then we provide FREE Shipping and container cost.


This is how to do it.

1. Have someone in your group willing to received the shipment and we recommend picking up at a FedEx facility in your area.

2. Log on to our online store and select the clam/s you want and in the details remark section, put what the name of our group/club.

3. Pay for your clam by CC and if you elect to pay for them by Pay Pal, indicate in the payment method, " Phone Order" and then pay for just the clams and then log on to your pay pal account and send to barry@clamsdirect.com If you are paying by CC, we will only charge your CC for the cost of the clams. So when you receive your order conformation, disregard what it says about the shipping and container cost as we will manually deduct that when we process your CC.

4. All bags will be marked with the clams ID # such as C-01.

5. Acclimate as soon as you can!!

6. Any loses must be reported to us with 24 hours after arrival. barry@clamsdirect.com or phone 619 593-0565
 
As far as Me putting them in my tank I would ONLY do that if someone could not pick up that day other then that they would be put in the bags in my sump to keep temp
Either way does not matter to me where they go I was just offering as Im 5 min from my house if at work and one of my kids are always home :)
 
Once you buy the clam it's yours and can't be sold to anyone else. He has confimed we can have until the 5th to get all orders in. Surely he will have 3 still that people want. Please place your order now if you want him to hold your clam until the shipping date.
 
ok I ordered...I put the SCMAS info into the box for delivery date. Was this correct?

That's right SCMAS group buy in the shipping date... Eric PM me your address and info so I can ask Barry to ship them all to your address. Sounds like 8 to me... 6 ordered 8 verbal, come on guys just 2 more. :)
 
Yea Eric, I need another clam like I need another gash in my back.LOL I would love one but I am running out of room.

Oh yeah, I'm in forSaturday delivery too. Otherwise I will have to wait until next Saturday to get the clams.
