My home computer's IP changed when I purchased a new modem. Of course I lost all computer connections to the APEX. It's funny that I still receive alarm e-mails, but cannot conect to the APEX to change settings.

Is there an easy way to get this corrected, or do I have to start all over?

You can view the IP address assigned to your Apex from the Apex Display:

System - Net Setup - IP Address

If you have DHCP enabled, it should pick up an new address from your new router when you powercycle the Apex.

If you have manually configured the Apex IP address (and associated settings) you may need to reconfigure them from the Apex display to match your new network subnet.

Did you get a new router or a new modem? Typically your modem is provided by your ISP. If you replaced your wireless router, you'll have to configure it for port forwarding, etc. The reason you can still send email is that as long as your DNS setting in your network config is the same, that's all the email server in the Apex cares about. If you stuck with the same brand of router, the DNS address probably didn't change. That being said, you still will have to configure the new router to handle inbound traffic for the Apex.
