Another "Ick" question

Has anyone ever used the "No Sick fish's" ick treatment??

They claim it is super concentrated (1 drop to 25 gallons).
The treatment period is 7-9 days, is "reef safe" but some caution should be exercised with some corals. Also I don't remember the names, but supposedly there are 2 people from this forum that have used it and said it worked.

I would just like to know for sure about something that cost $53 for such a small bottle, if it really does work then I'll gladly spend the money!!

That question comes up pretty frequently .... there are plenty of posts about that product on RC .. most comments are pretty negative and some of the posters have gone as far as saying the marketing practices of that company are questionable enough to warrant them not being sponsors of RC. I suggest you do your own search and make up your own mind.

To my knowledge there is no "reef safe" ich medication that works on a consistent basis. Common sense should dictate if there were such a product then the whole aquarium world would know about it.

I agree with Kevin: the reports of cures are not exactly pouring in. Frequently blennies and gobies, if they do get it, can throw it off on their own, or with a little dose of garlic---the garlic cure itself is subject to similar objection---spontaneous rejection of the parasite.
I will be impressed with a display tank cure for ich when somebody reports they cured an ich infested tang [a species particularly susceptible to it, and in whom, untreated, it is often fatal.]
The only medication I know of that I would ever put in my display tank is Maracyn, and that is not effective on ich at all.
