Got this mystery Acro that I can't ID. Any help steering me in the right direction is appreciated. It is a Bali Maricultured Acro.

Insignis tables more and has shape tips. Plus the radial coralites are more pronounced.

This acro is branching and has blunt tip. The coralite are barley there.

I agree that it doesn't look like a typical MC'd insignis; but I bet given time in a good environment that it will morph into the more typical appearance.

OP how long have you had the coral?

I have had this coral for appx. 7 months now. The structure was very unique, growth has been ok, but it hasn't developed any new or wild colour. I was not so sure what to expect but as many of the SPS gurus here can respect, you hold out hope and give it a shot maybe uncovering something amazing.
I may experiment with moving it up and/or into more waterflow to see if anything developes.

:)

I didn't think this was being maricultured but it kinda resembles A.cylindrica http://sdmas.com/corals/848.php

Thank you Jason. I may try a few things with it based on your ID and also with info I can get using 29reef's ID. Hopefully I can unlock the key to more beauty ......if it exists with this item.
I assumed since it was a Mariculture it had to be either rare, colourful or both. Dull and drab can't be a money maker for those guys so there had to be something about it.
