another ID thread

Today I received a colony of cloves through the FedEx. The bag contained several critters that looked like your everyday garden slug. They were about an inch in length. As far as I could tell none were on the coral itself, but instead cruising the plastic of the bag. Of course, most were DOA. Sorry I don't have pics, but my camera doesn't pick up much detail. They really do look like your everyday slug. Anyone have any ideas?
