(Another) New 90 Gallon Build

Yeah like I said it is worth feeling like a broken record, because I know once it is stocked up, nobody will have anything to say but...wow...at least thats what I'm shooting for ;)

I would be cautious when adding to corals to a tank that will eventually have fish dumped in all at once. It might be better to add the fish first then the corals. As you know, there are cycles when adding more bioload to a tank.

That is a good point, but I should be ok if its just soft corals, like shrooms, rics, and zoos don't ya think. They are much more hardy than sps and other corals.

You will be fine just don't over do it!

As long as the tank is cycled properly and you don't add a lot of fish at one time you will be fine!

It depends on what you consider alot of fish at one, I planned on doing quite a few. I want to quarantine them all at once so I don't have to mess with it.

Ok its been about a month since I've updated. I've decided on not getting a seperate refugium and just changing out the bio balls from my sump and replacing with LR rubble. I have limited space, so I don't want to cram something in I might not need. My last big thing do is setup my aqua controller and organize my stand/plumbing/wiring, so I can fit all my crap in there. I have about 10 little frags and 5 fish. The frags are mostly mushrooms, ricordeas, and zoos.
My fish so far are:
Bartlett Anthia
Royal Gramma
Maroon Clown
Blue Hippo
Yellow Tang

Want another clown, a firefish or 2, and a blue chromi.

Will post some pics soon.

And by the way what are the rules to putting one clown with another clown? I wanted to get a black one that looked almost identical to mine as far as pattern, but the dude at the lfs said not to mix them. Thanks!

I would just leave the LR out of the sump! This will be just one more thing that you need to clean out an dwill be hard to get to once the LR is in there.

I would just keep it empty so detritus and what not can settle and you can vacuum it out occasionally.

I could just keep it in the bottom part of the sump, and just take the bio balls out and keep that empty, but I have to have something in there to slow down the water so it doesn't just fall all the way down and make bubbles.

Got a few updates. I almost have the stand organized how I want it. I have my acjr goin, my power strips and dc8 mounted, sump in final place, hoses cut to proper length, and the phosban reactor runnin. I will take some updated pics of that when I mount the acjr and clean up the wires ;) I still need to do the mods on my maxi's so don't mind them :D My pump went out the other day, so there was absolutely no flow, and I knew I couldn't get a replacement for a few hours, so I tossed those in there.

Not much has changed since the last pics I've been very busy. I have been meaning forever to make my mods to the maxijets so I can go get a ton of corals, but I never set time to do it. I will soon tho and post some updated pics. Thanks for checkin in tho, I'll hop on yours and check out your progress soon too.
