I have one Maxi-Jet that has been modded, one Koralia 3, and one Koralia 4.

Why do I shy away from Hydor Koralia??? - Not sure what you mean since I am using two of them in the tank.

Here are a couple of shots under the hood. Nothing fancy...really simple and easy to maintain.

Sump with skimmer...

1/4 HP chiller and GEO Kalk reactor.

TEK Light T5 fixtures. One is 6 bulbs, the other is 4 bulbs.
