Another odd Anemone I found

Now what kind are these? They can't be aiptasia!

Look at the weird brown ones below the green stripped mushroom that are 'everywhere!'

Oh man! That's a lot!! So are they as bad as aiptasia? I know they are more of a pesky type. What do you recommend to start eliminating them?

Pain in thebutt. Get some joes juice and feed it to them nice and thick with all the flow off. They are not nearly as hard to get rid of as aiptasia.

KILL them while you have the chance i am weeks away from buying all new live rock because of them

they have taken over my tank i dont know where to turn i kill them and they come back they are the worst i plan on buyin 50 or 60 lbs of new rock and replacing all my rock cooking the old rock for a year hope they die off

IMO they are ten times harder to get rid off than aptasia
i am going to try a copper banded butterfly

I thought copperbanded butterflies were for aiptasia and raccoons were for majanos. have you tried the joes juice? I tried some just now to see what happens...

Seconding what mike said. Copperband's don't touch majano's. But, i have heard of some people have the raccoons go after them. If you do end up adding one don't feed the tank for a week or two after you add it, or do feed it and then stop for the same amount of time. That has always worked with me.

thanks guys my tank is too small for a raccoon but if i found a small one id buy it

ive tried thick kalk paste covering them in it and leaving the pumps off for hours they come back its incredible

ive tried joes juice do you think its better than thick kalk paste??
i would not feed for a month if it got the raccoon to eat them

where would a guy buy a small raccoon butterfly???
