It looks like WWC helped reefworks get one on the limited list!

anyone know the story on that? The description is kinda weird! Tyree took the time to point out that he first heard about it from Victor at WWC, but that Chris from reef works found it!


bah....I'll just call WWC and ask! check it out though.....it's pretty cool. like the sunset monti only with blue polyps! for the very low price of $125 per "small fragment containing one corallite"

OK.....that's a bit ridiculous! one corallite wouldn't even be safe to ship!

hopefully chris will let it go for a little cheaper to the locals! It IS pretty!

I don't really bother with the names much anymore but am semi familiar with some just because its easier, say, for zoas to keep track of color combinations.

LE really just means "you're going to pay $$$$ more"

Didn't some silly drama get the reefworks name banned earlier now that I think about it? You might just have to call them to ask

x2.. It just doesn't look that colorful to me, and seems to get pretty dull/pale at the edges...

I highly doubt he will tell you guys, all I will say is that the guy plays very dirty I mean you get caught on reefcentral advertising your OWN STORE:lol: and then try to do anything on his power to ONLY get his name on the coral after i set everything up but it did not work:lol: :lol: :lol: lmao well that shows his shady character

I guess Reef Works doesnt want to talk about anything at all. I called and emailed them about it. No reply to the email, and no one answered the phone call (during their business hours). Then, no one bothered to return my phone message. I guess they dont want to sell anything. Oh well, there are plenty of other LFS to go to. I'm done with RW if they cant take time to even answer or return a phone call. And people wonder why stores close. Horrible service is up there on the list of reasons.

I thought I seen it all when he got kicked off of reef central.Talking about being shady this takes the cake everytime I have been to world wide corals it been a A+ no bull experience AL I CAN SAY IS WOW!

oh....I heard about that a while ago.....if that is the case....about the posting to advertise his own store....that would be pretty shady!

and about the coral.... I saw the listing and thought how nice it was to see stores working together. I didn't realize that there were hard feelings.

hey Victor....how does that come about? I know you know Steve Tyree and Jose Casas pretty well. Did Reefworks call you and tell you that he had a monti that he'd never seen before and ask you how to get Steve to check it out? Obviously you got him(tyree) some of the Bubblegum Monster.

and about the coral....I assume the faded spots are from not getting much light and being fragged. how does the colony look? is there a picture of the colony somewhere? is the base the same color as the sunset? from the picture, it looks almost like the appleberry. I have only seen green and yellow like that. it's definitely out of the ordinary.

and is the colony in the display at reef works? are there frags?
