Looks amazing Wazoo!

I hope Richard gets his boat fixed soon and can dive again, I'm dying to get the second half of the package [being patient though Richard and I understand!].

Starting to get a bit too much green in my tank so I'm anxiously awaiting my critters to start cleaning it up.

I've got one rock now that is about 90% covered with feather caulerpa as well as my fair share of green hair algae.

I didn't know his boat was down--that's a tough break for someone who depends on it for his livelihood.

Is your tank totally cycled? (No nitrites?)

I had a caulerpa problem as well as my fair share of green hair algae. The critters will not clear it up--it is overwhelming to them. Mine is slowly going away however. What I did was add a sump with caulerpa (add something you are trying to get rid of) cheato and a rock and sand--the increased water volume and the cheato/caulerpa rids the tank of nitrates and phosphates which algae thrive on. I also keep my lights out during the day a little longer.

Yea I had a week of windy weather coming, so I decided to fix a problem on the bottom of my boat. Had to grind fiberglass for two days, then put new glass back on and then coat with paint. All went went until I decided to give her a trial run in the river last monday......

I have a new 250HP 4-stroke Yamaha that has not been fully broken in yet, so I let her open up on the river, got 45 MPH out of it......Great!

But got home and noticed I had peeled some of the new glass off the bottom, as the boat is so fast now...so...back to grinding and glassing for a few days more......just got it done again, so back to diving monday!!

Excellent, Richard!!!

Next time don't try breaking speed records in the river.

:D

Yeah--it's been really windy on this side of the state too...

Yeah, I've been fully cycled for about 2 weeks now but was holding off on the second half because I did have a nasty spike in Ammonia because of some sponge die off.

I've been looking into the sump idea myself as well. I have an empty 10 gallon that would make a good sump for my 30 gal tank. My green hair problem isn't too bad so if I get the critters in time they may actually be able to control it. I was able to pull some of it off some rock last night.
