Another "power restored" question

My date for power restored has been off for several months now. Using ver. 4.05_4D11 now, it was never right in past versions either. Is there a fix for this?
Power Failed: Jul 20 2011 19:00:00
Power Restored: Dec 27 2008 19:00:16
Power OK: EB8_3 (0 Days 03:46 - 2.2 Amps)

Guessing; it could be that the internal battery in your Apex is not working or the power out is longer than a few minutes. The battery that holds the time can only keey the clock running for a short time and if it dies before power returns then when the Apex starts it will have an incorrect time.

Again, I am just guessing; you can send the question to support@neptunesys.com and see what they say.

Do you have Auto Clock Set enabled? I think the Apex is supposed to poll the time server on startup when this setting is enabled and not have to rely on the clock battery.

Mine does the same. Curt thinks its a firmware issue. I get this even if power is only off for a few seconds. I have seen different variations - from the wrong year of restore to the wrong time of failure.

power only goes out for a second or two, the current date and time are correct. Just the restore date is off on the status page.
Had another power "blink" today-- here is what the status page screen says, notice the restore date today compared to the restore date from the original post.

Power Failed: Jul 22 2011 19:00:00
Power Restored: Dec 27 2008 19:00:16
Power OK: EB8_3 (0 Days 01:36 - 4.4 Amps)

Power fail a couple of days ago---------

Power Failed: Jul 20 2011 19:00:00
Power Restored: Dec 27 2008 19:00:16
Power OK: EB8_3 (0 Days 03:46 - 2.2 Amps

never noticed until now that the power fail time is always 19:00:00 no matter what time the actual power fail is.
