Another Robbery

Looks like the Tucson Aquarium store burgler has hit again. Talked to Hecter this morning and he was hit last night. He agreed to double my reward to 2000 for info leading to this guy. He asked me to post this since like mine his computer was taken.

Well......He may be a little worse for wear, but Hector is staying tough. I was just there, and aside from the broken front window, it was virtually business as usual. He brought in some corals to fill his tanks back up. In fact he had the best blue zoo colony I have seen in a long time. Must have had 200 polyps, of course I was wearing my glasses which means I will not be held responsible for the count, was cool though! Anyhow, want to wish him good luck in continuing his business in the manner he has in the past.

Cops in Tucson are worthless, they did not find one print and won't even investigate my robbery until 7 months down the road. I called and gave them a name from a tip and they said "He has no priors and it would be a waste of our time to check out now" Insurance only covered about half, and they stole my camera which the cops said is quite common. In fact security cameras make you a target due to how expensive they are according to TPD......

It's ok if they take the camera, as long as the recording device is locked tightly away.

I'm surprised they even dusted for prints. They probably just take the report so it gives the impression they care.

I'm really sorry to hear about the robbery. It seems the police have thier own priorities when it comes to "serving and protecting" the public. It's sad to see the law enforcement take such a non proactive role in thier duties. Especially when your trained to be proactive in thier duties. Honestly, I find local law enforcement a major waste of good taxpayer dollars. I don't pay my taxes to have them sit on thier asses in a A/Ced car talking BS with another parked in front of a donut shop. Same with BP. Waste of our tax resources.

Hell....You get better service when you rent them. They come out with their cars and uniforms and do what you pay for. As someone who has been ticketed a bunch in Tucson, I presume that is their number 1 priority.

Tickets create revenue for the city, you can be sure it's their top priority. It's all BS when they say there are no quotas.

Its not the Cops, its their leadership, when Rondstadt retired TPD went to bad officers not being disciplined and good officers being reprimanded. A gun store got robbed a while back, they had a officer do a drive by a hour after being called, came by 3 hours later to investigate, didn't have batteries for their flashlight. The crooks came back for the goods stashed in the alley 2 days later. Witnesses called TPD with info that crooks were selling the guns at a Trailer park with the stores tag still on the guns. They were told the detective handling the case was on vacation for 2 weeks. Thank God for the ATF, they followed up and caught the crooks. One got convicted and our great Judge Acuna gave him probation so he could do it again. We had to get the media involved to get his probation revoked, he served 2 years got out did it again and finally got 10 years.

John thats lunacy, what the heck is this city doing. At least a fish can't kill people. But I only wish I had a large cone snail in the tanks that got cleared out........Time to make a regime change at TPD. Most sheriff deputy I run accross are fairly cool. But I dread dealing with TPD.

Dupnic is not much better but he has better Deputies who lead in spite of him. Check his latest brillance on the illegial issue. Video works if wireless and recorder is well hidden or secured, but TPD would lose the tapes anyway so why bother. Best part is if you did catch the crook, TPD would probably charge you with unlawful detainment, can't have vigalantes interfearing with unlawful commerce.
