another sailfin question

ok, so I asked what I should do about my aggressive tang, but now I would like to know how long after I remove him from the tank should I wait to add him again to try and curb his aggressiveness. I was told if I take him out, he will lose his problems because he has no territory anymore. he is being mean to a new pearlscale I got. thanks, mike

A sailfin can and will be aggressive in a smallish tank.

doesn't matter, I am sad to say I traded him for another juvenile sailfin............ it felt like giving away a family member, but I had too, he wasn't added last and had aggressiveness built into him, there was no curing him other than placing him in another tank where he was the last added, so now I have a tiny one that I get to watch grow again and it is peaceful!

I'm assuming a 4' tank?
I bought a sailfing for my 90 a while back. He grew to 5"+ in a year. I gave him to a friend with a 600, and he has grown like a weed. They are large fish for a large tank. Be ready to get rid of this one in <2 years.

i had my other one for a long time and he grew, sure, but wasnt anywhere near too big. anyways, i have a 1.5 inch sailfin now, lol, hes not going to outgrow it for a while!
