Tank:
90g (4') DS, 40g refugium area (with small chalk basslet), 20g sump area
SPS, LPS, Clams

Current fish:
Mated Percula Clowns
1 Bartlett's Anthias
1 Fiji Damsel
1 Kole tang
1 longnose hawkfish, the female? mate just jumped last night :(

I've had a Mandarin Dragonet and Fairy Wrasse in the past.

Besides those (which I might get also), what other fish would get along with the anthias and damsel jerks? The anthias bullied the small fairy wrasse into jumping. I do have a net but it just so happens every time i take it off to clean or whatnot, someone jumps without me realizing until the next day!

I'm afraid if I move the Basslet into the DS i'll be bullied. Thanks for the help!

Something that I think would look well in your tank would be an assortment of different gobies and a trio of chalk basslets,or royal gramma.

I agree that would look nice, do you think it's ok to add smaller fish like that, with the anthias and damsel being pretty large and dominant?

Get a watchman goby and a reasonably large pistol shrimp. Introduce the shrimp first. The shrimp will dig tunnels to keep the goby safe, and it will shoot at anybody who chases the goby.

If you are worried about the chalk basslet, I would definitely add one or two more of them to make the little guy feel more comfortable.

I have a chalkie in my 75G who was being bullied by my chromis. I added two more chalkies and it definitely seemed to make him feel more at home. One of the two new ones died, but the remaining two are always together. The chromis will still give a small chase once in a while (nothing harmful), but he'll spread out his jerkiness between both and not just one. lol.

In my estimation, chalk basslets are one of the few species of fish in the saltwater hobby that you can safely put together without risking the possibility of them killing each other off. I have read other accounts of this, as well, so I'm sure some of the other members here can back me up on that claim.
