another stupid pod question....terra cotta orchid pot as home

yes another one..but havent seen this one posted yet

the orchid terra cotta pots...they have slits up the sides (maybe half of a centimeter wide) too small for fish but maybe big enough for some shrimp and other critters to get in when upside down

I was going to maybe use a few as the base under some live rock.

will anything else eat the pods if it can get inside the pot?
