Another tank build.

Thanks to Jason (TheComputerOx) and Anthony(MrHarvard). Harvard today informed me that Jason was getting rid of a tank setup, so I made my way up there and was really happy that I did. The tank is a nice custom acrylic tank. It came with a nice black stand, Tunze 6015, 150w HQI MH light, and about 18 heads of frogspawn. Tank needs a quick cleaning and a sump. All in all though, definitely a really great Sunday. Plans for this are pretty simple, clean it, add sand, rock, water, throw a d120 over it and get it running for the g/f who has wanted a zoa tank for well over a a year now. And thankfully now that my tank is running, I have the time to do that. Here are a few quick shots of the tank as it sits now.

Can't wait to see what this will look like.
Have any kind of color scheme you are going to use? or pattern?

If you mean for the light, I'm just using a light that a friend is selling me, which is a full spectrum layout.

I really like this little tank alot. Went and picked up the rest of the stuff I needed to get it running, big thanks to Brant (sirreal). Got a mag5, brand new full spec d120, heater, sump. Just need to get the light hung, do the plumbing and add sand and water.

Still has water spots but obviously once water is in it they'll go away.

Almost there, just have about another 5-10 gallons to make, then go pickup the rest of my rock and we'll be rolling along. Also got the light hung.

I really like these wall mounts, I like that I can raise and lower the light if needed. Light also is sitting fairly close due to not having optics.

Oh yeah, I also did the plumbing, not as clean Id like but thankfully the stand is fully enclosed.

Looks awesome! I love the lights, kinda wish I got these lights instead of my current orbit LEDs.

I like the way you hang your lights. Look good. Last time i bend a conduit to hang my AI Vega. So far so good man.

They're from home depot. I think I paid like $25 for the two shelf brackets and the actual wall mounts. I'm almost positive they'd hold that light, just get good anchors if they're going into drywall.

Had to replace the pump, the mag drive 5 I had was just a little bit too noisy considering the tank is in the living room. Got that hooked up, redid the standpipes, they were a little too short so there was quite a bit of splashing. Other than that she's all done. Just need to go pickup the rest of my LR and clean the arylic, just dusty from the sand.

Simple and effective.

"herbie" overflow, full siphon and and a backup, once it's under full siphon the backup becomes unused.

Stays really stable.

Definitely not this blue in person.

Need to add more LR tonight or tomorrow.

Jason, the g/f loves this tank so much. Tank is going through a bit of diatom bloom but everything in the tank honestly seems to be quite happy. All the zoas are fully open, the frogspawn is open and happy. My camera sucks so please excuse the quality of these.
