Another toadstool question, please

I have mine sitting high exposed to one 250 halide and four t5's. Very happy. Looking at moving him to a somewhat shaded area still directly under the lights though. Is this an issue?
I need to make room for my sticks but don't really want this coral compromised.

Mine is in the sand to the side of my tank almost in the front corner. Moderate flow and loves it there. Just finished shedding. It's about 3.5" - 4" diameter fully open and has a stalk of about 2" diameter and 4" or so tall (another 2" of stalk in the sand). They like decent light and moderate flow from what I've experienced and read.

That said you should be fine moving it down to the substrate.
