Another wavebox question

Hey Roger. When my box comes in I am going to have it on an 80 gallon 'til next summer when it will move to a 180. My question is, can I get adequate flow in this SPS tank with just the box and the return pump? Because of space issues I would like to remove my stream. Also, in a tank this small the top of the box will be out of the water directly under halide heat. Are there any working parts in the top of the box that may overheat because of this? Thanks, Jason

It should work fine. The flow is sufficient but detritus will not get swept up without strong directional flow from another pump. The wavebox flow is a lift and suspend flow. The light won't hurt it.
