another worm id please

hi there,
I turned on my lights tonight and found a small worm swimming in the top of the tank and i caught it and need to know if i should get rid of it or not. Unfortunately i dont have a camera handy as i broke mine. The best i can describe it as being about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch in length about the thickness of a peice of lead from a mechanical pencil and its dark grey / black in color with a whitish head and it swims very raiply in a serpentine fashion like a snake. Most likely an Epitoke, which are the free swimming stage of many worm species. Please see the "swarmers" section within my worm hitch hiker page. Thanks.
