Is it a bristle worm? The others I have don’t look like this or act like this. It keeps sticking its head out of the sand and scoping things out.

Does it appear to have tiny "pincers" or white, curved fang-like appendages around the mouth? Can you even see a mouth? Some of those guys are quite predatory.

Its mouth is really small but did have a “frayed” look to it as if it had pincers. Do you know what it is? I haven’t added anything new in a while, it just now showed its ugly face lol
 
It may be either a fireworm or a bobbit worm. Sometimes they only eat a specific species, such as gorgonians, which means it might not be harmful in your tank.
