Ant infestation in biopellet reactor

So today I saw a few ants crawling around my tank which seemed quite unusual because there's never any open food or anything around the tank. Long story short, I pulled up the cylinder of my biopellet reactor and millions of ants started running out. I don't know how this even happened but does anyone have any suggestions on how to treat this? I can't just remove my biopellet reactor and I also don't want to blast ant spray all over the water.

How about those Ant-Bait stations? They feed the queen and then the whole colony dies.

Terro. We had a big ant infestation, placed Terro in bait traps, no more ants. Took a couple of days.
