Anthia Help?! Confusion..

hey guys,

Well, we had a single squareback female anthia.. She was doing great! Eating like a pig.. out on the open all day..

We decided to add a second one. Both got along perfectly, ate like pigs.. just right.

Two days ago, the first anthia decided to hide for good. It wont come out to eat..swim..NOTHING!

We know its there because we see it wedged to a rock, or perched on a cave..but it will not come out anymore..

Water parameters are all in check.. ideal.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:

Yep, its just wedged there in a rock..just chillin.. I have NO idea what may be causing it to act that way. I am worried because it hasn't eaten anything for 2 days when she used to eat 3x a day..

No clue..

This happens regularly with anthias unless they are fully QTd and defluked. They just waste away.

So its pretty much downhill from here?.. It was doing perfectly fine..

Did you do FW dip to check for flukes? I'd take it out and QT it right away. Hope your fish can pull thru.
