Anthias and low salinity

I have 2 in QT right now and I see ich on one of my tang,so I love low salinity instead of copper and wanted to know could they handle it at 1.009??

Anthias are pretty touchy. Would rather treat with cupramine or chloroquine.

I've never known Anthias to have problems with hypo. But, I think tank-transfer is a better method of eliminating ich. there's a sticky at the top of the disease forum. Hypo is very demanding, has no room for error, and seem to be failing way too often. Probably hobbyist error, or a strain of ich has become used to the low SG.
