I moved into a 4' 140g tank after years of med small tanks. I was in need of a fish (you know reef addiction) and I picked up a stocky in the fourth store I hit. It was a sharp little fish, aware and on the hunt for food; long story but I had the store get me more and I now have a trio. These are the most charming little fish. If I come to the tank, rather quickly all three will be hovering in front of me. I understand stockys are like this: eating straight from the bag, and easy to care for, but are they also especially friendly or not shy compared to other anthias?
Also, I know anthias keepers often house several varieties together, but that seems contrary to what others say. Would Murphy strike if I footed the money for a trio of rarer anthias to add by having them shredded by my more bullet proof trio?
