You need to make sure the tank and equipment is 100% dry. I would still run the copper and metro but switching tanks, if the wrasse was in with the anthias, is not a bad idea.
I have had the wrasse in copper and ten days of metro. Then swapped him to another tank. Bleached the other one. My question is at what point would you say he is good to go. He never had any signs of this. Seems very hardy and eats like a pig. I want go be safe but do not want to subject to more than necessary of course. Thanks
It is possible to eradicate ick with a ten day treatment however you have to be 100% sure the cu levels were thereputic all ten days. The. You do as you done and transfer the fish to a sterile tank and observe. I would recommend observing him for 2-3 weeks this should give enough time for you to notice signs if your treatment was not successful.

Sorry 1911 I try to help a lot of different people on several sites and got your mixed with another. Once a post starts getting as many replies as some do it's very time consuming to re-read each. Regardless of ich or uronema the process remains the same. 10 days metro with 14 days cu then to a sterile tank.
Thanks, ich was not an issue, just the uronema the two anthias had. He was in there with them. Next week would be a month and he seems to be fine. Just wanted to get some other opinions before I moved him to display tank.
