Its a slender anthias

If not specically the magenta its in the slender anthias complex. Larger picture will allow proper ID

I've had those from LA and I agree the ones in question are slender type anthias.

They were sold to me as tukas by Bluezooaquatics. I thought maybe they were juvis and would grow in, but no. Drab color, slender body and huge mouths. That happened the second time I ordered from BZA. The first time the order was right
