I forget what these are called. Spot or Painted Anthias? Thanks.

I call 'em redbar anthias...I think they are also called tricolor anthias...

Pseudanthias rubrizonatus

Hopefully you got some females, not just all males?

Nope they aren't them at all, they are truncate anthias i have a pair they look exactly the same, males and females are the same colour.

It is a young male rubrizonatus.

Truncatus does not have a red bar on the body. The red spot on truncatus and hypselosoma is on the dorsal.

I had one of these a while back and was told it was an "ignatius anthias" or something along those lines, hearty as can be.

Here is a shot of the anthias I had:

Just checked...

Three of them have really red mark on the side while two are very light. All males?
