Anthias IDs

Also, without a female, IME, my male turned a solid pink color, losing the male coloration. I can't recall the last time I saw females for sale, either :(

I'll check with the guy and ask if there are any females. If not I'm just going to get the Randalls I guess. Was thinking Bartletts until I saw your thread about keeping them long term

Meh, not enough Randalls in stock. So I'm now thinking the Lyretails with Ignitus. Are these Ignitus Anthias:

Also I'd like to add 4 of these to a tank with 2 established Lyretails (one male) and will also add 2 new female Lyretails making 4 of each with the dominant male being a Lyretail.

Would this be a good mix?

Yes, those are some lovely ignitus specimens! They mix well with lyretails (even in the wild ;) ).

I think this a good website .Not only it gives detailed descriptions with the help of pictures it also gives a good idea of the tank these Anthias live in. The pictures are so beautiful. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous. I think people are looking to know about what kind of fish they own and to find the gender of the fish. I hope this could help them make a beautiful reef aquarium.
