I currently have a 135G tank 72x18x24.
90lbs of live rock. Lots of swimming room.
LPS Dominated with softies.
Current inhabitants:
2x Osc. clowns(paired up)
3x banghai cardinals
1x Pj cardinals
1x Diamond watrchman goby
1x clown goby
1x Super male McCoskers flasher
1x male carpenters flasher(Not 100% sure and he is kind of dull coloring but with strong lines. Maybe young male but he is a flasher wrasse for sure)
The flashers are very active in and around the rockwork. They tolerate each other and have certain territories carved out. little chasing every here and there but it goes both ways.
I considered adding female wrasses for the boys to play with BUT its so hard to find true female wrasses I am afraid i will end up with more males and wars....
I want something to be active in the mid water and swim. The pictures of anthias all look wonderful. We have only ever seen the blotched at the LFS. I would more than likely be purchasing them online.
I will be adding a tang to the tank later on down the road (once the anthias are settled in nicely and I am comfortable).
I was really considering the Carberryi's previously (just a trio)but was planning to add more wrasses. I Think i like the interaction my current wrasses have and don't want to interfere with it.
What would give a nice color spread for 2 Anthias species. 2 trios that would co-exist but give some color and activity to the tank?
My current thoughts are:
Carberryi
Dispar (a little on the big side dont want to get biggerthan 4in)
Resplendent
Ignitus
Sunset (parvirostris)
I have never seen them in person. watched videos of all but was looking for people that have mixed2 species of the above listed and what was your findings and thoughts? Is this realistic in my tank or should i stick with one species and be happy?
Any and all feedback or criticism is welcome.
Thanks
