anthias that are not aggressive

What temps were you keeping the Ventralis Anthias at? Beautiful display, sorry for your loss.
You must feed alot with two full sized angels in a reef.

I kind like the red saddle anthias.

I got some randells. A male and two females. They ate from the get go. The smaller female died two days later, night before didn't eat.
Thier personality is just what I wanted. The male will sometimes give her a little bump but nothing like what I have seen from lyretail's or bimac's.

There is a LFS in Houston, Fishland on Westheimer, have a group of Tricolor Anthias for 15.99 each. They are on the small side, only about 1.75 inches, all female. They are eating very well. I have decided not to have a lot of wrasses in my tank, and at this time hesitant to get them.
This is a very good price for these anthias IMO.

Personally I love anthias - they are right up there with certain damsels in my opinion. I recently picked up four lyretail anthias and couldn't be happier. All female though. I'm going to be adding another four down the road or mix in another four different. They eat very well and not aggressive towards one another outside finding the right position in the rock / open water area to snatch the best food.
