Anthias - will new females take to an existing male?

If I keep adding female Anthias (Lyretail specifically if the sub species matters) to a tank that has an existing male, do the new females tend to gravitate to the male, or is it difficult?

Anytime I have added any new anthias to an existing population, there's a new tussle for pecking order. If you are adding females, then the male is likely to keep his spot as the top dog (not sure what you mean by 'gravitate to') but I have had losses amongst the female population as a result of fighting. Would suggest QT is a really good idea for these fish to get them fattened up to survive any initial skirmishing.

I mean will the females join the harem that the sole male is top-dog of. sounds like the answer is 'they will try, with some likely initial fighting'.

i QT for a month all fish, so will get them fattened up and healthy first.
