Anthias with single white spot

I bought 3 lyretail Anthias last week and it is in quarantine. One of my lyretail has a single white spot on its face. At first I thought it was ich or velvet. But it was slightly bigger than ich or velvet. But I treated with coppersafe anyway. Safer than sorry. The spot has been there since I bought it. It is eating and acting fine, infact it is the most active and colorful among those 3. The spot is protruding out. Could be fungus? Anyways it came from a big tank with 50+ anthias(lyretails and stockys) perhaps it was injury?

I'll get a pic soon, but can anyone help out without a pic ATM?

Pic will help. It could be an injury. I had an angel that had what looked like a large pimple on its body which turned out to be the beginning of brook.

Here's a picture

Hope this is clear enough. It's a fast fish:uhoh3:
The spot is kind-of-a-bit fuzzy. Can't really make up, it just moves too fast to catch a clear & detailed look of it.
It actually looks bigger than ich in person.

Also I've been soaking its food in garlic.

Gotta get a cleaner shrimp or 2. If it'll help.

cleaner shrimp won't help ich or lympho, but fun little guys nonetheless.

IMO, that spot is too big to be Ich and in an odd placement to be lympho, assuming referring to the spot on the side of the face?

The spot is basically protruding out as if it seems like I could just pluck it out with a pair of sharp tweezers. So I think I'll give cleaner shrimp a try. But if they don't eat then like you said "fun little guys nonetheless". Is it safe to add the fish into the DT? I wouldn't be adding shrimps into a tank filled with copper. Also the Anthias are getting cramped in the small QT.

And yes it it the spot at the cheek.

Is the shrimp in the main? How long have you had the anthias in the QT? I personally would not add them to the main until I know what, if anything, the raised spot is.

Alright, I took a risky leap and added it to my DT more than 12 hours ago. Gladly the spot is gone now, I guess all it needed was space and enough feeding for that 'spot' is to recover. It was QTing in a 15 gallon for slightly more than a week with 2 lyretails other anthias-3 altogether+copper dosing(don't get mad :D, my qt isn't meant for that many big fish). So it was most likely stressed out which was preventing it from healing. I would assume it was a bite mark/loose skin or fungus, but do bite marks even last that long? Infected bite mark maybe? heh, idk.
