It's too hard for me to tell because your photos are so small. Try resizing them and uploading them again.

Anthias

Anthias

I have a mini school (5) of Dispar Anthias. They are great! They look great with awsome color, and they have personality. They are ALWAYS all together and when they hide behind the rock...one always pokes his head out to see if the coast is clear then they all dart out together in a single file row.

I have had them for about a year and seem healthy and happy.

Randalls and Resplendent females are basically impossible to tell apart.

Has one turned male? If so post a picture and the males are fairly simple to tell apart.

I have tried these guys and have been unsuccessful. They seem more prone to popeye than any other anthia and i had a low success rate of getting them to eat dry food.

Can i ask what and how often you feed them?

Thanks for posting, beautiful fish

Yeah, I'm not really aware of any way to tell them apart? But I haven't kept them, nor have I really looked at them in detail before. Flavicauda females (when they were available) also looked just like this.

i feed frozen brine
cyclpezze sry for spelling
rods food
shrimp pellets
and even marine chips (flake food)
they love to eat

i have 8 fish in a 75g so if i were to feed that much (in a sps tank)
my corals would all be browned out

but im working on a 120, even with not alot of feeding my fuge seems to take care of the rest anthias all look good
