antibacterial kanamycin gelfood

What should I use to make this for a saltwater fish? I plan on using kanaplex/kanamycin. I have a clown with popeye. Extra clean water hasn't helped and it has been three weeks. It developed after replacing an impeller on a hydor nano and debris being stirred up off the live rock. He started flashing that night but hasn't done it since. He has a whitish brown growth on his forehead now also. Behaviour wise he seems normal and still has sight.

Would it eat a brineshrimp or mysis shrimp gel food and would I add garlic as I would for taste with a freshwater fish?

In general, antibiotics in food may work only for fish that eat very well, very eager feeders.

More often than not it doesn't work well. Antibiotics work better in water.
