I found this today while I was hunting. No clue how old it is, figured someone here might be into antiques and could give me some info.

I'd say, aboutta tree fiddy. On a serious note, that is an awesome find. Hopefully someone can chime in for you.

Very cool. I havent seen one of those in awhile. I doubt its worth much money though. I'm not that old and I remember using those bottles when I was younger. I might be completely wrong so don't take my word for it.

Um antique???? That bottle is maybe 20 years old, i can remember drinking out of them.... How old are you again?????? If you are really lucky I'd say it's worth a shiny nickel!!! ( return for deposit)

If it helps. The logo on that bottle was used from '73-'90. Since it has a deposit that puts it after '82. I love useless information. :P

i might be wrong. but i think the dep.on a 16oz bottle back then was 10cents . iwish they would go back to glass, the taste is so much better

I think NY has always been a nickel. Unless you are talking about "Returnable" bottles like Anderson, etc... I think those were a quarter if I remember right.

Hey some useful info, finally! From the little research I did I was guessing it was about 50 years old and worth about $5. Figured there might have been an expert here to give me a solid answer. It will get cleaned out and placed on a shelf somewhere here.

I believe this is correct. I remember wondering why glass bottles were 10 cents and cans were 5.

Used to love getting 8 packs of glass bottles. Was I the only one who would scrap my hand on the bottle caps because the carrying handle wasn't positioned in a friendly way?!? :D

I agree the taste was much better back then!!

agree with the taste thing, glass is so much better. But... I remember back in the day having to watch where you walked because of shattered glass everywhere.
