Any AC guys in Pasco?

I need to tap into my AC System to help control the Garage temp.

Any of you AC guys or know an AC guy that is willing to help a guy out?

At my old house, i did it myself with no AC experience..not as hard as you might think. Bought the stuff at HD. If nobody comes thru for you, i do know an AC person in Pasco.

Yeah I agree with Ben, its a piece of cake a few questions at the HD and get the right parts and you will be good to go...

My biggest issue is the way it would have to snake under and between rooms to get to the AC Blower unit.

I figure talking with a Pro is the best policy here!

If you can post a pic and describe where things are and where things need to be going I can try explaining it to you if you like, or ya can go the route and phone a company!! The thing is if you call an AC guy your going to dump at least 500+ or more for them to do it, when the materials will only cost about 100 if that.

Here is the quick and dirty.

My setup is in the back right corner of my garage, butting up against the stair case that is inside the house going up to the Bonus Room.

The Bonus Room sits above the garage, so the right garage wall is the bonus room wall.

To the right of the garage is the dining/family room.

to the right of the bonus room is the AC unit, sitting above the dining/living room.

I need to route an air vent 6" or so, under the floor of the bonus room between the floor joists and then through the ceiling of the garage. My thing is what 2x4's can I cut to route the ducts, and how do I reinforce the cuts and allow room for the duct.

I talked to a guy that will look at it tonight. I am hoping that he will be able to tell me if it can be done or not.
