Any all anemone nano's or larger tanks out there?

I just picked up a 34g Solana and I'm thinking about doing an all bubble tip tank. I've got a couple in my other tanks that tend to walk from time to time and it would be nice for them to have their own tank to wander wherever they like.

Just wondering if anyone else has something similar and would like to post pics for some inspiration! :strange:

Thanks!

Sorry, don't have any pics (yet), but that's exactly what I'm planning to do. I have a pair of B&W ocellaris in a 34 Solana, and am getting a locally cloned RBTA in a month or two. It will be a clownfish/anemone/macroalgae tank; the only coral I have is a frag of encrusting montipora (I figure it's the tentacles that sting, not the foot, so even if the nem decides to go on walkabout it probably shouldn't harm the monti).

There's definitely a lot of these tanks going on right now. I choose to go similar to this with my upcoming project. I just bought a 45 gal cube. I ordered a pair of onyx clowns and will decide on an anemone soon.

I'm going to use rock, sand, and water from an existing setup.

I'm excited

Whats wrong with us? :D

Im thinking of doing the same thing for a couple reasons when we add on this spring.

1) My wife is on love with her occy clowns, if they were to get beat up by some of the larger fish im aquiring...it would not be good.

2) I want a nem, but have had some trouble in the past with them wondering over zoas and palys, rics, and anything else that lays flat on rock. With a seperate tank, with 20-30 lbs of rock and only a nem this would no longer be a worry.

3) A 24" cube 15-18" high, rimless with black silicone is sexy :)

What's everyone using for flow in their tanks? I'm probably going with a single mp20 (along with some return flow) in my cube

I'm in the early stages of building a BTA tank right now. It fits into the nano size range listed so that's where I'll be starting my build thread probably sometime this week. I've got the glass ordered and should have all pieces to build the display by 1/24 so it'll be a while before I have anything to post here.

That said, I will when I get that far, and I'll definitely be looking to you other people with nem tanks for some inspiration.

As to my flow, going to go with 2 MP10s.

Also using 2 MP10s here. I really like them--hoping they're not going to be a problem when I get the RBTA, as using the foam screens really cuts down on the flow.

I was wondering about the foam as well. It looks like it will cut down a lot. I've heard the foam doesn't really help stop the 'nems from getting sucked in. It looks like they would be protected a bit though. We shall see.

Mine isnt all anemone, but its 300 gallons, I currently have 2 GBTA, 2 RBTA, 1 PLTA, 1 purple gigantea, 1 ritteri, they are all doing great
