Any CB H. Erectus breeders in ME?

Does anyone know of a CB H. Erectus breeder in ME? My tank will be ready shortly and would like to buy them from a local hobbyist if possible.

Matt used to breed seahorses. He is a great resource if you plan on breeding them. I do not know of any one else in this area. I think Penny at Aquacorals was looking at setting up a system. Not sure on the status. She had the best selection in the area.

Aquacorals is in Fairfield. You can check out her website. www.aquacorals.com I know she has seahorses but I am not sure if they are CB H. Erectus.

If I understand correctly, all seahorses are supposed to be CB.. it is illegal to trade wiild caught..

Unfortunately you can get WC. A lot of people don't do the research on keeping them and are very disappointed when the SC seahorse dies because it isn't trained to frozen food. Sad

Someone on ebay is selling them for next to nothing ~ goes out in Florida, catches them and throws them on ebay.

Aren't the wc seahorses in Fla the pygmy seahorses? I thought they could still be collected?

I believe you are correct Jason, that some species of seahorses are not regulated. Good luck foinidng Erectus. They are supposed to have some of the easiest to raise fry.
