Any chance for a basic pump, non controllable?

I don't need a controllable pump. Just want a good flow and external motor. Any chance a basic pump will be avail in the future? Just a plain ol powerhead???

You can get the older version as they're still available at quite a few places which have the left over stock.

We're working on something to fill the void that the MP40 has left. However, you will likely never see a version of this pump that is priced below $100- a lot of what makes this pump possible are the same reasons why it's expensive.

Since the launch of the MP40w we have stated that the MP40 will only continue until supply ran out. Currently this is the case. However, as I said in my post above yours , we are working on another pump to fill the void that the MP40 left, ie, a non wireless version. We feel this is a critical product and it is one of our top priorities.

We do not recommend that you turn the VorTech pump on and off via a wavemaker.

For wave making, the best method is to go with the WWD as its control capabilities are very simple and effective.

Just get the regular one. I have one on my 30g and it works beautifully!
