Any chance my brain coral will live?

So my brain coral seems to have taken a turn for the worse. We recently had an outbreak of marine velvet. We used the ruby reef treatment. He was fine for several days, then suddenly he began turning white. Any chance we can save him? Or is he done?

Parameters:
PH - 8.0
Ammonia - .25
Salinity - .024
Nitrate - 10
Calcium - 420

Thanks!

I figured.

Well we learned a valuable lesson on getting a quarantine tank!

Should we take it out of the tank? Or just see what happens?

So my brain is actually looking somewhat better. The edges are inflated like normal. ANy chance it will live now?

Ruby reef is not reef safe despite what it says. I never got any response from the 1-800 #. If this is also your experience, male sure to tell you LFS.

Just maintain stable water parameters and it should recover. I would look into the rescue coral thread. And never trust any "reef safe" treatments...ever heard the cake is a lie?? It's best to treat in a quarantine tank for this reason.
