Any Closed-Loop Veternans?

I'm running my first large tank and would love to learn from those who've been there and done it!

I don't have a closed loop per se. I am planning to build an in-tank closed loop with a Red Dragon II DC pump.

So what configurations of flow have worked well for folks? Any do's and don'ts?

The tank is 60" x 40" x 20", bare bottom and all SPS.

I think the internal/closed loop is the way to go.

As for do and don't, well to every problem you can find multiple solutions that all work. In every case, according to the person doing it, that method is the BEST.

Just read some setup threads and find the ones you like.
